Dynamics CRM: Speech control

Here I will demonstrate how we can use our speech/microphone to create note in Dynamics CRM.
Due to technologies these days we are becoming so lazy that we are not loving to type our notes. It will be better if we just speak in mic and Dynamics CRM start capturing our voice and write notes for us.

Configuration: -

You just need to download and install this solution.
After installing the solution add one html web resource(sav_/ws/StoT.html) to your form where you want your speech to text control should work


Working: -
Here I am taking example to Case entity.
I have added my web resource in case form.
After adding this web resource When you open case form you will see Speech control with three icons and one text box. And status would be Waiting.



 Now you need to click on mic button to start voice capturing. Browser will ask your permission to allow mic. You need to allow your dynamics CRM site for this. Now it status will changed to Started.

Now you need to speak in microphone, so control can write text in specified textbox. Voice needs to loud and clear.  😊


After completion you need to click on save note icon. It will create note with current record in regarding.
If you make any mistake or control makes any mistake correct text content before saving.

Now status changed to Note saved.


If you are willing to pause your speech for a while, needs to click on Pause recording icon.
Now its status changed to Paused.


Limitation : -
This solution use browser capability to capture your speech.  But Internet Explorer do not have this feature, so this solution will not work in internet explorer browser. I have tested this solution in Chrome.
